Day 6 Disneyland and some extra pictures

LEFTOVER PICTURES

Somehow I missed a few pictures that needed to go on.

One night for dinner Marshall didn't like any of the food options, so Jake being the best Dad that he is, took Marshall walking adn they came back with this HUGE TURKEY LEG.  It was yummy, but oh the comments Marshall got from people walking by, this thing was the size of his head!!!

I LOVE tht my kids love their cousins.  Kambria and Karson had so much fun together.  When the adults were going on Indiana Jones I took these two on Winnie the Pooh and the Jungle Cruise and they had a blast.  They are so funny together and just love each other.  I am so thankful for this!  I remember going to Disneyland with my cousins, and I loved it.  I love my cousins and am so glad they do as well. 

Day 6

Today we woke up, ate some breakfeast and then hit the road to Las Vegas.  We stayed at the Stratosphere Hotel.  We got there and checked in and while everyone else was settleling down we decided to go to the pool.  It was super windy outside and the pool lasted maybe 10 minutes.  Chairs were blowing eveyrwhere, our towels, shoes, coverups were flying away and the wind was just too much.  So we went and got some ice cream, went to the top of the stratosphere,  Because of the wind the outside was closed, but we could still look out. 

The kids took their penny's and put them in the machine that you had to crank, you really had to use some muscle.

For dinner we didn't want to eat at McDonalds again, so our little family went to Roxy's Diner.  Its a 60's Diner with fun music, and the waitress' and waiters sing while you eat.  It was a lot of fun and the food was super yummy!

We had such a fun vacation.  We were worn out by the end, but so thankful we were able to go.  Marshall had worked hard to save up his money, and after paying his tithing he had $42.00 to spend.  He bought plenty of guns and swords to last a lifetime.  We had tons of cotton candy, churos, and other junkfood to make us gain lots of pounds as well.  Its over and now we can't wait until we can go back!!!!

Day 5 Disneyland

Day 5

Our last day at Disneyland we hung out at both parks and went on rides.  It opened up a little earlier, but you could only shop so we sat at the entrance to the area we wanted to go and some nice family took our picture.

Kambria really wanted to get her face painted like a Kitten, so we splurged and it was so cute and she was so excited.

While walking we saw Ariel, she couldn't stop, so we snapped a picture while on the move, however Kambria really didnt care.

The longest ride line was toy story, but it is also the most favorite.  So we dealt with crazy Kambria for 40 minutes to go on it!!

Day 4 of Disneyland

Day 4

As I mentioned in my previous post when we walked into Disneyland we saw a lot of characters and took some pictures and then we headed to rides that we really wanted to go on.  We were able to go on Splash mountain like 4 times in a row, and most everything else was just walk right on as well.  It was AWESOME!!  We stayed at Disneyland until 10:00 when California adventure opened and then headed over there. 

That evening we ate dinner at Goofy's Kitchen.  If you have never experienced this, it is a MUST.  a bit pricey, but totally worth it.  It is a buffet style dinner and then characters come around a greet you and music plays, the kids dance, can be noisy and it is just a good time, and the food is great too!

Here is our gang. It was so great that my entire family was able to go, it was a fun time.

The Mad Hatter is hilarious and does such a great time, Kambria got such a kick out of him.  Kambria had her character book, but she didn't care about the signatures so she had been drawing all over in her book and he made a lot of good jokes about that.

The other awesome thing you must see at California Adventure is the World Of Color.  It was so pretty.  The park closes and then those with passes get to stay in and see the show.  I lOVED IT.  It was very good.
