Pictures of Kambria

Here are some more pictures of Kambria. She is doing great. We were able to come on Christmas. Jake spent the night at home with Marshall on the 24th so that Santa could come and visit. When they woke up they opened a few presents and then brought the rest to the hospital and opened them up there. It was a great Christmas! My sister was able to be my nurse 2 of the nights and I just loved that, she took great care of me, and it was neat that she was able to help me and be with me on Christmas Eve. Marshall got some fun presents for Christmas, but he says the best thing is Kambria. Kambria had some jaundice so we were sent home with some lights. She was checked the next day and the jaundice had dropped but so did her weight.We went today, and her weight and jaundice are great!! Yeah. She is a good baby, she cries when she is hungry or needs a diaper change, otherwise is very quiet and fun. Marshall loves being a big brother, and is the biggest helper ever. I love having two kids, but never realized how much work it would be. Once I get a routine down I will be good. I have great family that has helped me with everything possible and has kept us fed. What the best Christmas we could have asked for!!

Baby Kambria is here!!

Kambria Oakley Cutright is here! She was born yesterday about 5pm. She weighs 7lb 1 oz and is 18.5 inches long. She is doing great considering she is 3.5 weeks early. She is still in the NICU, they are trying to lower her blood sugar and get her breathing to slow down. I was able to get out of bed at midnight and go in and hold her for the first time, she is so cute. The C-section went well, just very sore now, but that shall pass. Marshall is excited to be a big brother. Pictures to come very soon.

Marshall's 4th Birthday

On Saturday we celebrated Marshall's 4th Birthday. It is surprising how fast time goes, weird to think that he is 4 years old already. We had family over for lunch, games and conversation. It turned out really nice. Marshall got a lot of fun toys and Loves his Leapster. He wanted a Diego Cake this year, so Diego it was .... by far the hardest cake I have yet made. It started out looking like a monkey, but ended nice. Here are a few pictures.

Viva Las Vegas

I am so happy that my Dr. gave me the okay to go to Vegas to spend a few days with Jake. It was a lot of fun. First off, yes I am a sinner and I did play on the penny slots, but I didn't loose any money, so I don't feel bad, and its not an addiction, I just think it is fun to do on occasion. Anyway, We went out on Thursday night and walked the strip, in one of the casino's was this super fun game, so we put in 5.00. We just take turns hitting the repeat bet button, I happened to be the lucky one to push it the time we won. We won 215.00, i couldn't say no just yet and kept playing, when we decided we had enough we walked away with 245.00. YIPEE. I play 5.00 at the most and walk away even or up a few dollars most usually, so to walk away with that much money I was so excited. We saw the Bellagio Show, the Mirage and a few others, and after about 3 hours, my body decided it was way past ready to relax. So we came back and I went right to sleep. I slept good till about 3 a.m. then I had heartburn, and everything ached, I guess I out did myself :0). For all you pregnant ladies, if you want people to stare at your belly like crazy, and I mean stare, the airport boarding a plane, or Vegas is he place to go. People started getting on my nerves from staring so much, but what can you do. Friday night we walked around again, and then we went to Carrot Top ...... I was told from a few people that it would be a waste of time, it was actually rather funny, he could have done without the language, but still enjoyed myself. It was a very relaxing, fun getaway. We drove home on Saturday, the roads and weather were great until about Fillmore, then it was horrible. The snow was soooo bad that we couldn't see in front of us, so scary. From Fillmore to Provo we saw a total of 29 slideoff/accidents...5 of them were rollovers. It was crazy. Luckily Jake is a good driver and I said probably 100+ prayers so we were safe. I do not do good as a passenger in a car in the snow, Jake probably wanted to kill me by the time we got home.
So I now have 3 weeks to go and I am so ready. I feel like I did 1 week before I had Marshall, maybe its a sign, I have swollen feet, hands and legs ..... this didn't happen till one week before my due date with Marshall, so this kinda sucks. Its winter and NO shoes fit, so it is flip flops in the freezing cold. Oh well, it will all be worth it in the long run. Saturday is Marshall's Birthday, the next Thursday is Christmas and then 1.5 weeks later is Kambria's Birthday!!!!!! We are excited and anxious and ready. I have some kind of feeling that she is coming before January 6th, but you just never know. Jake, my mom and I both feel that way, she truly has no more room, I don't think by belly could grow any bigger.

4 Weeks to Go!

So I now have only 4 weeks at the longest to go. If not before then it is January 6th. This pregnancy dragged forever, and now it is going too fast. I must say I am ready, but not ready at the same time. Saturday I was having really bad contractions all day long every fifteen minutes, I would say it started at about 3:00a.m. and they didn't stop till about 4:00pm, just as I was about to head to the hospital to get checked. Sure am glad they stopped, since the next day Jake left for Vegas. These next 4 weeks will fly considering I will be in Vegas for 3 of the days, we Have Jen's bday dinner, Marshall's birthday party and then Christmas. I am happy to say that I have ALL of my Christmas shopping done. Also Kambria's room is 100% complete, and I have everything that I think I need. So now it is time to try and sleep while I can.

The Beautiful Temple LIghts

Last night we went downtown to the Galivan Center to go Ice Skating with Jake's family. We had free dinner .. yummy sandwiches and cheddar broccoli soup, and a yummy cookie. After we ate we decided it was too cold for ice skating, plus I couldn't go anyways . . . . so we went over to the temple to see the Christmas lights. I love downtown this time of season, but I must say, there were not as many lights as there normally are . . . kinda disappointing but still beautiful. Inside the visitor center they had a choir singing, it was fun to listen to the Christmas music. Marshall was a good sport and did very well for how cold it was. I love this season, I love that we are able to celebrate the birth of Christ, what a special time of the year. It was a lot of fun looking at the lights and listening to the Christmas songs. We go down and look each year, its a fun little tradition. When I was young we would go down with my moms side of the family, it was always a good time.

It's Official 4 weeks 6 days to go!!!!!

I had my dr. appointment today and he called the OR and scheduled my C-section for January 6th at 7:30 am. So unless I go early . . . which I am not getting my hopes up for, I have just under 5 weeks to go. YEAH!!! Everything continues to look and sound good. My Dr. even gave me the okay to fly to vegas with Jake next week for a few nights. I was scared to ask with it being so close, but he said it was fine. It is so close. I feel very unprepared, but I am as prepared as I can be as far as I remember. I am now just anxious and ready. I want to hold her, kiss her, see what she looks like, know that she is healthy, and get the C-section over with. Marshall is really excited also. The other day he said he was excited that Kambria would be here soon so they can play. I said, "she will be kinda small for a while, but you can still read and sing to her and hold her." He said, THATS NOT FAIR!!! It was kinda sad. He was so excited, and then so disappointed. He is going to be the best big brother ever. Jake is ready as well. What a great Husband I have, he has been the most patient man with me. My hormones have literally been crazy and when out of no where I start to bawl, he will just hug me and tell me everything is fine. I am sure he is ready to have normal Brandy back, as am I. This will be a great way to start off the new year.

Marshall's Concert

If there is one thing that I love to do, it would be listening to marshall sing. He has the cutest voice ever, and he loves singing. I have heard his songs a million times, and I still enjoy hearing them. This past Sunday we got home from church and were hanging out downstairs, Marshall grabbed the Guitar for Guitar Hero and started singing. He told us he was putting on a concert. It was the cutest thing ever. He moves his legs, and acts like he is a rock star. It went on forever. He then moved to the drums. Here is a small clip of a few of the songs.

Family Christmas Party

We had our annual Christmas Party with my moms side of the family last night. It was a lot of fun. We normally go to a church and play games and eat, however we waited to long to reserve a church, so this year we went to Bounce U. There were lots of bounce toys to play on and then Santa came and we ate some doughnuts. It was hard to resist even being pregnant, so I did go down 2 different slides and I was fine. However the 2nd slide I probably should have avoided. It was called the fire hydrant, you had to climb through a series of levels of rope like stuff. So no ladders, no stairs. I thought it would be fine, yeah what a work out, Jake had to help push me up each level, and when I made it to the top I was so tired. HA HA what a pansie I am. I think I could have done it fine without being pregnant. My mom was so worried that last night she called me at about 9 to make sure I was okay and then this morning she called to make sure I was okay, I guess I scared everyone. Marshall had so much fun, and he slept so good. He was a little hesitant to see Santa, but he did. I was able to take a few pictures and then my camera battery died. But I did get video as well. Please remember I only have 5 weeks left, so when looking at the video, that would be why I look like a huge cow :0)

Here I am going down the slide, the slide was fine, but the climbing was a workout. Probably should have said no, but I wanted to try it out so so bad!!
