Marshall's Photo Shoot

I took Marshall to get his Pictures taken. They turned out really cute. You would never know by the pictures that mom had to sit right next to him and do the same pose and then slowly move away so they could take the picture. These are just some of them.

Happy Easter!!

We had a wonderful Easter. We took Marshall to Peterson's for there annual Grocery store candy down the isle hunt. And then we went to Jake's FOP (Faternal Order of Police) Easter egg hunt at a Park in Midvale, that was a lot of fun. That night we went to My moms house and had an Easter egg hunt in her back yard, and then had a Turkey dinner. It was so yummy!! On Sunday we went to Church, Natalie spoke in church and did a wonderful job. We then went to their house for dinner and games. We are so thankful for the resurrection and for Our Savior Jesus Christ, we are thankful for this wonderful time of the year.

Marshall is such a good boy. Here are some things he does that makes me so happy.
Says his prayers . . he always has to bless everyone in our family including extended family.. . . . .Knows his ABC's . . . . .Can count to 20 . . . . .Loves to read stories . . . . . Wants to be like mom and dad. He will go down in my office & put my headset on and talk on the phone, if you come in, he tells you to be quite or you are going to get him in trouble!!! (I really need to be careful how I talk to him, he remembers EVERYTHING!!) He puts on his hat and gun belt and chases the bad guys all day long, and he has his police radio, and loves it.. . . . Sings everything, if you had to sing instead of talk, Marshall would be the winner. . . . .. In the morning when I am so tired and I don't want to get out of bed, Marshall will crawl in next to me and sing to me, rub my back, or play with my hair. I really do like it, even if I act like I want him to leave me alone. . . . .He is truly caring to everyone. He is so nice, and always says thanks and please.
SOME FUNNY THINGS HE HAS SAID:
you ask him something and he replies, "you know it!"
the other day he was looking for his shoes, he said, "Where are my freakin shoes at?" (oops mom needs to stop saying that word)
Maverick was barking like crazy the other day, I went up to tell him to be quite and said you are the dumbest dog in the World. That night Marshall said, "Mom maverick isn't the dumbest dog in the World, he didn't pee on the carpet, and if he does he says bark bark, which means sorry!!"

Plus many many more things. I need to start writing them down, because they are so funny, but then I forget so easily.
Well sorry by blog has been so boring, I have just been thinking about people lately and wanted to spotlight them. We are going to Disneyland in April, so loook for some pictures from our Vacation end of April.

A Tribute To My Granny

I have been thinking about my Granny a lot lately. I wanted to write a few things about her and some pictures of memories. My Granny is such a wonderful lady, I love her so much. She has been in my life since I was a little girl. We would go up to there Sandy house and eat meals and visit all the time. My granny is the best cook. I love her Chocolate chip applesauce cookies and carrot cake.
I have many traits from my Granny. Well if you could guess by me telling you my Granny is a home grown German what would the first guess be . . . Stubborn, yep that's it. I am a very stubborn person and that was passed from my Granny down to my dad and right down to me, but it doesn't stop there, I have passed that on to Marshall, and I hope and pray that is where it stops!!!! The other is I have a bad right ear. It is not my best ear if you are wanting to tell me a secret (Jake loves that my ear doesn't work well.) Well my Granny and my dad, both have a bad right ear as well!!!!!!! But I still love my Granny.
Granny & Grandpa have always supported us, from our ball games, to our blessing, baptism, church activities, graduation and now that we have children of our own . . . That hasn't stopped, they still keep coming. They were so caring when Marshall was born, they have to been to all of Marshall's birthday party's that would be three!

Every birthday I get a card, knowing they are thinking of me. I have so many memories of Granny that it would take forever to write them all down. I love Gummy Bears thanks to Granny, I have a huge bag of them at home. I love Granny and Grandpa so much, all of my grandparents mean so much to me. If I ever need help they are so willing and would be there in a heart beat. I am so thankful for the gospel, I am so thankful for my testimony of my Savior. I am thankful that families are eternal and that we will all be reunited again. That brings a lot of peace to me when I think of my Grandpa Gotberg. I know our Savior loves us, I know that he died for me, I know that through the atonement I can be forgiven and return to live with him again. I have so much to be thankful for. I love you Granny and I am keeping you in my Prayers.

Jake's Police Work

So I just thought I would put some fun pics of Jake and his Police work on my Blog. He will think I am a dork, but I already know I am, and I am good with that. Here are some of his pictures. Jake is on the SWAT Team, in Detectives, the arson investigator and much more, he stays plenty busy in Midvale. The second picture is a standoff that occurred in midvale today. Jake is positioned behind the car on the top left of the picture. The last picture is a Catholic church that was burned, Jake was able to go and help investigate. He has been doing a lot of training for Arson investigation, it will be nice to be certified because he can eventually work independently for insurance agencies if he wishes to. Jake is a hard worker, and is great at what he does. We love Jake and are so thankful to have him as our Husband and Dad. Marshall loves Daddy more then anything, Jake is the best dad anyone could ask for. Marshall loves pretending he is a cop and he walks around with his pretend gun and asks where the bad guys are that he can shoot them (he does know that we really don't shoot people, so that is a good thing).

Marshall's ABCs

Here is Marshall being super crazy!! He wanted me to record him singing his ABCs while he was spanking his butt! Yeah if you thought your child was weird, you have never met Marshall!!! But that is why we love him, he is so much fun, and so wild. Everyday he says things that make me laugh, or make me wonder where in the world did he get that from. Enjoy. Viva Las Vegas

We just got back from Vegas, and we had a blast!! Jake had an arson investigation training, so our hotel and food was paid for. We just had to pay for our fun. Jake had training during the day, but during the evening we would walk the strip, went to a movie and just enjoyed the quite nights without having to wake up to Marshall wanting a drink or a treat! We didn't bring our camera, but here are a few pics from the phone. The first 2 of course being the water show at the Bellagio Hotel. I love watching those shows, they are so amazing and beautiful. One day when I am rich, I am going to stay in a balcony suite at that hotel. The last being Marshall's new M&M wallet. He was sad that he was left behind, so when we sent a picture of his wallet to grandma, he was so excited and happy!!
