6 month checkup

Kambria had her aptmnt today and she is doing sooo good. She did better with her shots this time also. Her heart murmur is totally gone, and she is strong and healthy. She is doing everything she should except sleeping better as a 6 month old should.

She weighs 17 lbs 2.5 oz - 72%tile. She has gained 3.22 lbs in 2 months
Her length is 25.75" - 48.8 %tile. She has grown 1.25 " in 2 months
Her head is 17" 70%tile. Her head has grown 1" in 2 months

Kambria 6 months

We love Kambria so much, she is such a sweetie and has her own little personality already. I truly cannot believe that she is already 1/2 of a year old, time goes way too fast. I love every stage of babies, some are hard and challenging, but I wouldn't want to miss them. I love when they realize what things are, I love it, I love when they start to explore. Here are some of the things she is doing at 6 months:
She loves daddy, anytime daddy walks in the room she stares and smiles at him.
She is interested in her hands soooooo much. If she doesn't have a toy she will look at her hand and wave it, turn it just look at it.

She is 99% of the time happy and is always smiling.
She eats her toes. Yuck Yuck Yuck!!!
Kambria is drinking 6 oz of formula at a time. I just stopped breast feeding and Kambria has adjusted to bottles wonderfully. She drinks Soy Formula. ( however mom has learned to wean the nursing, don't just stop, that is 1 week of pain, intense pain!)
Kambria is in a size 3 diaper.
About 5 1/2 months Kambria started wearing 6 -9 months clothes, some are almost too small already.The minute we put Kambria on her back she automatically rolls to her tummy
While on her tummy she scoots forward to reach toys
her favorite foods are peas, green beans and sweet potatoes, also her oatmeal.
You love peaches, applesauce and bananas, however they don't like you yet ... we will try in a month or so again.
She laughs all the time and so hard, it is so cute. Marshall can make her laugh the most. She loves Marshall.She loves to hold toys or any object in her hand. Everything in her hand goes to her mouth.
She still has chubby cheeks, everywhere we go we get a comment about how chubby they are.
She is a crappy sleeper. Still wakes up 2 or so times a night. Was doing good, but then bad again. She loves to pull on moms neck (yeah it hurts) or pull your hair
She is at the stage where diaper changing is a challenge, because she wants to roll
Kambria is so much fun. She loves loves loves food. At the dinner table we put her in her highchair next to us, and every time you bite your food she goes for it, she knows what food is and would eat it all day if you let her. She is sassy. She is always talking, she never stops (not sure where she gets that from). She loves bath time, she kicks and hits her hands and just screams. She enjoys being outside, she is content doing anything when outside. We are excited to bring her camping, we know she will just love it. Marshall loves being a big brother and is such a helper. He will hold Kambria's bottle so mom can clean or cook, he will play with her, gets mom diapers, and he is sooo silly!! Marshall is telling me right now what to say, here we go: He makes silly faces, he loves to play, loves to play webkinz (cursing webkinz ... frustrating to have for a 4 yr old) (however Marshall is super smart on the computer and almost has everything on webkinz figured out so I don't have to help anymore!!! YEAH), loves to go next door and really wants to send Tyler an email RIGHT NOW!! do the email mom.
So that is all for now!!!! Kambria has her aptmnt on Friday, so we will see what a fatty she is then.

What a Great Wife!

This is going to be kind of short, but I really wanted to write something about my wonderful wife. As many of you know, Brandy is a great person. I could not have found a better wife, companion, friend or mother. She is the best! It is hard for me to imagine how difficult things are when in the past 6 months she has been through two surgeries and missed two holidays because she was in the hospital. But she did not complain (too much) and she continues to push forward as though nothing happened. She is amazing. I am soo glad that she is a part of my Life. I just wanted everyone to know, Brandy is the most caring, loving, stubborn and cheerful person and I love her to death....and beyond. She may not want to think of having to deal with me for eternity...but she signed the marriage paper so... it's too late HAHAHA (that's an ominous laugh). Brandy, I just wanted to say I LOVE YOU and thanks for being such a great wife and mother. I would ask that everyone comment on this about how great she is. Thanks.

Marshall's Pre-school Program

On Thursday Marshall had his end of the year pre-school program. He did a wonderful job singing all the songs they have learned through the year. He slept good the night before, but for some reason he yawned through the whole program, it was pretty funny!! Marshall has loved pre-school. He has made a lot of friends, and he adored his teacher Miss Leann. He can write his name on his own, he knows how to write all the letters, and recognizes most all of them. He loves singing and loves being the center of attention. We sure love Marshall, we are glad that he is part of our family. He is going to be starting Pre-K Preschool in August. He will go 3 times a week instead of 2, he is very excited. I don't think I ever wrote this down, it was hilarious ... When I was in the hospital getting my Gall Bladder out, one of the neighbors asked Marshall if we were all okay, and he replied to her, "My mom went to Vegas and got the Swine Flu." How funny is that, we had went to California and where he heard about the swine flu I don' know. Also the other day we were at a Birthday party and Marshall was sitting with a bunch of other kids, and I over hear him say, " Sometimes my mom will see a fly and think it is a bee and go running, yeah my mom is a dork!" I said what Marshall, he said nothing, and then he repeated it, I said am I a dork, and he said yes! That little stinker. Here are some pictures of his little program.

Here is Marshall and his Teacher Miss Leann. Marshall just adored her, such a sweet and nice teacher. Marshall learned a lot and will miss her. He has often times asked if we could go to Miss Leann's house to play.

Growing Kids

Nothing much new at the Cutright home. We have just been home playing and enjoying the nice weather, and I did love the thunder/lightening storm last night!!!

Kambria is getting so big. She rolls from back to tummy, and has rolled from tummy to back only a few times. She now loves her tummy and is doing the worm, where she scoots forward on her tummy to reach for toys!! She loves food, if you couldn't tell. Her favorite is sweet potatoes and peas. She is fun, however she will not sleep. i am 99% sure she is teething but I am not kidding she wakes up soooo much at night right now. Any suggestions on how to get your baby to sleep good is welcome, I am dying young from lack of sleep.

Marshall is doing good. He is full of energy and a bit crazy right now. He is going through a terrible 4 stage, we hope it ends soon. He likes to tell us, " I can do it, because I am the boss of my self!" or I will put him in time out and say I will tell you when you can come out and he yells at me, "I will tell YOU when I can come out!" I am being patient, but soon he will be listed on the KSL classifieds as free. He is too smart for his own good.

Marshall came over to me the other day and said, Mom .... neeed iceeee creammm and then acted like he was dying. What a character. So luckily we were going to Article Circle so he could get that needed ice cream!

Marshall is such a good brother and loves to be by Kambria and do what Kambria is doing. He is a great helper.

Birds Nest

Jake was trimming the trees in the back and he came across a birds nest. He looked in to see 4 eggs and 2 were just hatching. So cool!!! There are now 2 tiny tiny birds in there, we didn't want to bug them so mommy would come back, but here is one picture, maybe if you look close you can spot the two newly hatched eggs.
