Our Little Family

I am sure that everyone reading my Blog knows us, but I thought I would give some background to our family. Jake & I have been married for 7.5 years . . . . it will be 8 in July. We met in Highschool, we were really good friends and kept in touch while Jake served a mission to Peru. When Jake got home we started dating, and 3 months later we were engaged, three months after that we were married. Jake is my best friend. He knows how to make me happy, he is the best husband and father that anyone could ask for. It was meant to be. I thought that Jake had been home for a few weeks so I decided to call and say hi! I called his home, when he answered I asked him how he liked being home from his mission, he paused and said, well I am not sure since I have only been home for about 1 hour. Yeah I was really embarrassed. I told him I would let him go spend time with his family and to call me one day. He came over a few days later and we talked, my mom paid for us to go snowboarding . . . . that is when I decided I really liked being around Jake and I hoped our relationship would go further. Well . . . we now have 1 child, Marshall who is the best kid in the world, I would not trade him for anything. The three of us have so much fun together, they are my life. Marshall is a busy 3 year old. He is going to start playing T-Ball in April, he is going to start Preschool in August. He loves playdough, transformers, he loves to sing, help mom cook and he loves his imagination.

I took Marshall to the Children's Museum he loved every minute of it. There is so much to do, and it gets all of the energy out of him. We went with Lisa and her two kids Addy and Connor.

Baja Mexico

**BAJA MEXICO CRUISE** San Diego, Catalina Island, Ensenada**
We took a Cruise to Baja Mexico. We went with Grandma and Grandpa Cutright and Kim & Ryan. We had so much fun. We took an airplane ride to California, and spent the night in a hotel. It was the worst night ever. I was throwing up all night long. Kim loves to snore, and Jake, Marshall and myself played musical bed all night long changing spots. However that was the only hard part of the trip. Everything else went well. Marshall played basketball on the ship, and each night our stateroom attendant made animals with the towels, they always made sure that Marshall felt very special!! While on the ship we ate, ate, and ate some more. We relaxed, and went to shows. It was a lot of fun, and we can’t wait to go on our next cruise. These are just a few of our pictures, we have lots and lots more.

We started in L.A. California area and then we had three stops. The first day you have the "muster" drill, you all have to put on the life jackets and go to your area of evacuation. That is always rather annoying.

We went to San Diego, while we were there we took a trolley around the city and went to a mall to shop.

The third day we went to Catalina Island. It was so beautiful. That morning we were eating breakfast, we looked out into the ocean and there were 50+ dolphins jumping in the ocean, it was amazing!! (I tried to put a picture, but you can't see the dolphins too well.) On the island we were anchored in the ocean and had to take a little boat to get to the island. On the island there was tons of shopping to do. Grandma Cutright found a library, and we also saw the police station. The main transportation on the island is Golf Carts, you would see them lined up and down the streets. It was a great stop. Marshall bought a treasure box and coins, it was so fun for him. He loved talking about pirates and was good at hiding his treasure so that no one found it.

The next day we went to Ensenada, Mexico. We took a bus ride to the famous "Blowhole", it was pretty neat seeing all the water shoot up. Then we walked thru the flee market, there were about 200 stores. On the bus a lady taught us how to bargain and how to know if the leather and silver was real. It was fun looking at all the stuff. We then went to Downtown and looked through the shops and went to the grocery store and bought some Vanilla.

This was a lot of fun, I can't wait to go on our next cruise . . . . . it will be to the Caribbean for sure!! Until then, I hope everyone enjoys our pictures.
