Family Pictures

Today we went up to the Mountains to take some pictures. I think they turned out pretty good. We finally have a family picture.

Kambria is at a really hard age for taking pictures. You set her down and she is gone. This is the best for the moment. Yes her shirt is up, but I will get more in a bit. She stands up in her crib now and yells mamamamamamamamamamamamam until you go in there. Cute, but annoying!!

9 Months

Our HAPPY Kambria

I cannot believe that Kambria is already 9 months old. In 3 months my baby with be 1!!!!!

Kambria had her check up today and here are the results:

Weight: 18 lbs 4 1/2 oz. She is 44.92%tile Her weight has started to slow, the dr. said it could be a few things ... She is on the move a lot, all over the house, and 2nd around this age, your genetics start to kick in. So if you are to be a small girl (which I would assume Kambria would be), then you will start to lose your fat. She is healthy with her weight, he was not concerned at all.

Length: she is 27 1/2 inches. 51.67%tile. perfect!!

Head Circumference: 17 1/2 inches. 66.4%tile. Her head has steadied in size also which is good!

She is doing perfect, doing everything she should be at 9 months old.

You are still in Size 3 diapers

You eat 8-10 oz of formula at one time. You love your baby food, and you are loving table food. You love potatoes and bread and anything that we give you. (Surprise!)

You can sit up from your tummy or back.

You can crawl on your knees, although you are faster at the army crawl.

You love your blanket.

You love to play peek a boo with your blanket

You love to crawl on Marshall nad grab at him, and wrestle.

You can sit up on your knees and try to pull up, you haven't pulled up to your feet yet.

You love to blow in and out of your nose while scruntching it.

You always talk, nonstop, sometimes too much :0)

You are so happy

You sleep 10 - 12 hours at night, waking up just once to get your binky again

You take 2 naps during the day. The other afternoon, you must have sat up ... and then you gave in to your tiredness and bent in half to fall asleep ... Here is how I found you sleeping :0)

you still love to be outside.

Loves to laugh and smile.

Can give a high five.

Loves to Play Patty Cake, while playing she will hit me over and over on the chest instead of her hands together.

Knows that I am MaMa, Jake is DaDa, and knows BaBa.

You are such a good baby. A bit crazy, but we couldn't imagine not having you. Marshall is such a good brother to you. Marshall loves to sing to you, take your toys away so you have to crawl to them, and loves to make you laugh. Marshall is the best brother that anyone could ask for.

You are 100% mobile. You follow Mom everywhere. You also are starting to follow Marshall.

This morning I was looking for Kambria, she had disappeared so fast, she was in Marshall's room under his desk. The house now has to be spotless, because Kambria puts EVERYTHING in her mouth. That is one thing that Marshall did not do, and I was so thankful!!!!!

We love having you in our home, you are so fun to be around, we enjoy seeing you grow.

Wrestling Turned Bad

Last night Jake didn't get home till after 8pm .. Marshall missed him so much. So while Jake was eating dinner, me and Marshall ran in his room and put all his pillows and his comforter on the floor and hide underneath of them. We then started to call Daddy's name, he came in and we were hiding ... So Dad pretended like he had no idea where we were, but these pillows look so comfy and I am so tired, I will just lay down, said Dad. And he layed on top of us and started to tickle us. Then Marshall and Dad started to wrestle, well after a few minutes of laughing Marshall started to act like something was wrong and was yelling owwww stop, owww stop .... So Jake stopped. Well what happened was Jake had a pen in his shirt pocket and some how the tip was pushed out and it was up against Marshall's back and drew/cut a line on his back. It even bled a tiny bit. Daddy felt so bad, but it was just an accident. Marshall was so brave while we washed it off and put some medicine on it. Oooops!!!!


The other night we were driving home and there were a few stars in the sky, Marshall kept saying over and over ... First Star I see tonight, I wish I may I wish I might have this wish I wish tonight .... I wish to be able to fly without falling. So this morning he says to me, Mom do you think My wish from the other night will ever come true???? Hmmm, what do I say to that?

I sure love my marshall!

Echo ... Echo ... Echo!!!

On Friday We headed up to Echo Reservoir with my parents and Ary's daughter Kenzie. It is a pretty small Reservoir, but there was not many people out so it was a blast. It was warm, the water was calm and you could cruise around so fast! And my Grandma was so kind, she called and offered to watch Kambria, so we didn't even have to worry about little squirt, we just played worry free. Thank you so much Grandma, you are the best. I do truly have the best Grandma ever. All the Grand-kids love her guts. Marshall stated, I want to stay with Kambria and Grandma instead of going to the Lake MOM. Umm no, you are coming with us. She is so cute and gives the kids so much attention. We are happy that we are so close to her and that she has such a loving relationship with our kids!! I am loving that it is still so warm in September so we can use the wave-runners, its been a lot of fun. We had a blast, here are some pictures.

Kids say the funniest things!

This afternoon we were just hanging out at the house and the conversation went like this:
Marsh - only a few more months and it will be my birthday MOM.
Mom - yep 4 more months and then you will be 5!
Marsh - 2 more months MOM! (hmmm, more like 4 but okay)
Mom - in a pretend crying voice ... I don't want you to be 5, cause then you will go to Kindergarten and that means I am old, and I will miss you.
Marsh - Well I am going to be a MAN mom, so stop crying.
Mom - thinking to myself, well okay then, I'll just stop crying!!!!!

........ EARLIER THAT MORNING

Marsh - Kambria's shirt is so cool (just a striped shirt, nothing special)
Mom - yep pretty cool
Marsh - That's not fair, my shirt is so Lame!!
Mom - Your shirt is great Marshall, it has a dinosaur on it and at preschool today you are talking about dinosaurs, how cool!
Marsh - NO MOM ..... LAME!!!!! (Lame was said more like LLLLLAAAAAMMMMMEEEE! He had to make sure I understood.

So today I have learned 2 things. Marshall is going to be a Man one day, and his clothes are so lame!! Oh the joys of being a Mom.

And while I am thinking about it. Why do we want our kids to crawl/walk/talk anyway??? I want Kambria to crawl so bad, now that she is, I want her to stay mobile. I put her down for a minute so I can get something done, and she crawls to where I am, yep pretty silly. It is cute though. If the door knocks she starts crawling in super fast mode, its like she is racing Marshall to get there first. She is just like Marshall, door knocks/rings she has to see who it is :0) Kambrias newest thing. Get into crawl position and then stick butt in air so she is in the upside down letter V shape. Super funny, really hope she doesn't start crawling this way!!!

Anyway, that's all for now, just wanted to write these couple things down so I don't forget ..... my memory is getting bad, well it always has been, isn't anything new.

Deer Creek

On Labor day ……. Me, Jake the kids and my Parents headed up to Deer Creek to try out the new wave runners. They were a blast!!! It was so much fun. I have realized I took like 4 pictures the entire time, I’m kinda sucking with the camera taking lately, I need to do better. My mom took some, so I will have to get those from her. It was warm, and windy at times, but a lot of fun. Marshall loves the wave runners, he went with me, Grandpa, and Daddy a lot. Can’t wait to take them out again!! They are fast and very nice. I am so happy that my parents bought them. They will make some fun memories for sure!

Day Break Lake

On Friday My Friend Lisa and I took our kids to DayBreak Lake. The kids had a blast!! It was pretty hot, but well worth it. Afterwards we went for ice cream .... I forgot my purse, so lisa bought, what a GREAT friend :0) Here are a couple of pictures. Marshall loves Addie, he says he is going to marry her. They have a lot of fun together, unless Addie forgets Sparkle, then she is doomed :0)
