4th of July Party/Vegas/Herriman Days

HERMAN DAYS

We had so much fun at Herriman Days.  They wanted Jake to be in the parade.  So the kids and I got to ride in his DARE truck and throw out candy.  The kids thought it was so much fun.  Sheriff Winder was walking around before the parade started and Jake was out talking to him, the kids were saying they hope he comes and says Hi.  Jake got in the truck and he went the other way.  I told Jake and he ran out and told the Sheriff and he came over and shook their hands and chatted with them and made them feel like a million bucks, he is really a good guy!

That day the kids went on carnival rides, went in the fire trucks on the motorcycles and then we watched a few minutes of the movie and left.  The next day we went back and went on more rides, petted an alligator and had lunch.  We love Jakes job and the community that we live in!

    VEGAS

Jake and I went to Vegas for a few nights to celebrate our 15 yr anniversary.  We had so much fun.  We went to the water park and had a blast.  It was SO hot and the tube slides were so much fun.  We hung out at the pool, walked the fun casinos and just relaxed.  I love spending time with Jake. 

 4th Of July Party

We had our annual water party.  It was so much fun.  The kids and adults played in the water forever. We then did sparklers and watched a movie outside.  We always look forward to the 4th of july.  I think it is Jakes favorite holiday.

Police Appreciation Night

The Chaplain out in Herriman hosted a Police Appreciation night for the Officers and their families.  It was a lot of fun.  They had bounce houses, BBQ and frisbee, football and face painting.  The news interviewed Jake and asked him how it made him feel to be appreciated.  He said it felt good.  Where right now a lot of people don't like the police, it feels good to be appreciated, they have a hard job and they are here to serve and do their best.  He did a great job and we had a fun night.  Jake is a great Man, I am really lucky to have him as mine.  

Classic Water Slides

My Mom bought all the kids a Classic Pass for summer fun.  They have LOVED it.  We went this day with my Mom and Casey's kids.  It was a blast.  

Scout Camp

I am the Bear Den Leader in our ward.  We had scout camp and paid for too many boys to go, so Kambria came with me.  She had so much fun.  She shot BB guns, bow and arrow, hiked, and did the obstacle course.  She LOVED it!!

Bear Lake

We had so much fun on our little trip.  Our little family headed up a day early and stayed up at Monte Cristo, it was so pretty!  We hiked around and watched a movie and just chilled. 

 We then headed up to Bear Lake.  Sunday, Jakes Parents, My parents, winners and the rouseys headed up.  The next day Gilberts came up and later in the week the Moss' joined us.  We always have so much fun.  We swam and swam some more.

 We splurged this year and purchased a paddle board and two kid kayaks that we LOVE.  They were played with the entire time.

 We got shakes and fries one of th nights.

 Our family went and got pizza one day for lunch, it was so yummy.

 It was super sunny so Jake and I bought cowboy hats to keep the sun off our faces, it helped a ton.

 I am so glad that Jake and Jon have stayed such great friends.  They are like family and we just have so much fun with them.  Our kids get a long so well and we always have fun.

 One night we ordered two Massive pizza's and this picture doesn't do it justice, it is HUGE.  One pizza feeds 16 people.  We got it and played at the grass of a church.  The boys played football.

 There was a Mom and 3 baby bald eagles at the lake.  They were so pretty and fun to watch.  I barely got this picture of the baby flying.

 The last night us and the Moss' headed to Monte Cristo.  It was such a beautiful night.  We watched a movie and had marshmallows.  We all slept in our trailer, it was really fun.
