JaZZ game

Kambria is so kind and full of compassion. She had a blast last night, but in the middle of the game she seemed concerned. I asked her if she was okay and she replied, “Our fans are kind of rude. I mean you air ball and then everyone tells you that you suck, or they laugh, it’s just not very nice.” It made me think, because it was true, we as fans yell a lot of
rude things, it’s all for fun, I suppose, but is that teaching our kids that bullying is okay? I don’t know ...…

DARE design contest

This was a lot of fun. The smiles and joy from this girl were fun to see! Jake did a great job with this project from start to finish. He is a great DARE Officer (I might be biased). They had a parachute over the truck covering it, and Madi got to pull it off, it was fun!!

Thumb problems

Marshall got his thumb pin out. Now lunch then headed to get a new cast.

Hidden La

Took an Easter drive up to hidden Lake, we are dying to bring the camper back up. Still too much snow, but close. brought the 4 wheelers up and made it to the lake. We think we found a Bear print :(. So beautiful. We shall be back soon.

Marshalls thumb surg

Marshalls surgery went great. They only had to use one pin. At least 4 weeks in a splint/cast and then go from there. It was super close to the growth plate, but didn’t damage it at all. Thankful for a great Dr today and a super great anesthesiologist, they both made Marshall feel so comfortable. Long day, but glad to have that done.

Broken Thumb

Marshall waited 13 years to break a bone. He broke his thumb playing basketball. This has turned into a long night. Still waiting at instacare to be transferred to the ER

What a long day. Finally saw a dr and Marshall did not need surgery. They aligned his thumb and put on a splint that he will wear for a month. He did awesome. They gave him the option to go to sleep or just numb the thumb. That was an overwhelming choice for him. He didn’t want to not remember, but didn’t want it to hurt. They gave him some medicine to help with the anxiety and my son turned so loopey. But he chose to watch and did awesome. But it’s as if he has amnesia and has asked the same questions over and over again. It was funny at first .....,,,,,

So instacare Dr said he felt it was. more than he should touch. ER at riverton said it needed an orthopedic specialist so they called the on call. He looked at x-rays and said it needs a hand specialist.

So then yesterday we were given the run around and told to go to er at primary children’s and they had a specialist on call there.

He said he didn’t
think surgery was needed and placed it and did a cast. Follow up Tuesday with the specialist Dr.

today that Dr calls and said no way it needs a pin and asap. Ahhhhhh

I don’t feel i should pay a penny for yesterday.

San Jose Trip

Jake came with me to San Jose over the weekend to deal with a few things. Thankfully for him we got there Friday and Saturday morning the few things i wanted Jakes help with were cancelled. Thankfully, because that poor guy was so sick. He tried to be fun and went to dinner with me. He flew home to snow after a super delayed flight and Got home and he has a bad sinus infection. I feel so sad i’m not home to take care of him.

I am really enjoying my view this morning. Please let the snow stop by Sunday!!!!!
