Broken Thumb

Marshall waited 13 years to break a bone. He broke his thumb playing basketball. This has turned into a long night. Still waiting at instacare to be transferred to the ER

What a long day. Finally saw a dr and Marshall did not need surgery. They aligned his thumb and put on a splint that he will wear for a month. He did awesome. They gave him the option to go to sleep or just numb the thumb. That was an overwhelming choice for him. He didn’t want to not remember, but didn’t want it to hurt. They gave him some medicine to help with the anxiety and my son turned so loopey. But he chose to watch and did awesome. But it’s as if he has amnesia and has asked the same questions over and over again. It was funny at first .....,,,,,

So instacare Dr said he felt it was. more than he should touch. ER at riverton said it needed an orthopedic specialist so they called the on call. He looked at x-rays and said it needs a hand specialist.

So then yesterday we were given the run around and told to go to er at primary children’s and they had a specialist on call there.

He said he didn’t
think surgery was needed and placed it and did a cast. Follow up Tuesday with the specialist Dr.

today that Dr calls and said no way it needs a pin and asap. Ahhhhhh

I don’t feel i should pay a penny for yesterday.

San Jose Trip

Jake came with me to San Jose over the weekend to deal with a few things. Thankfully for him we got there Friday and Saturday morning the few things i wanted Jakes help with were cancelled. Thankfully, because that poor guy was so sick. He tried to be fun and went to dinner with me. He flew home to snow after a super delayed flight and Got home and he has a bad sinus infection. I feel so sad i’m not home to take care of him.

I am really enjoying my view this morning. Please let the snow stop by Sunday!!!!!

YAY! I’m coming home! Boo ... my flight has been delayed. Eventually i’ll make it home.

New Car

My new ride. It’s dangerous to go test drive cars. I told myself not until April. But the price was right, they found me the color i wanted and it’s so nice. Anyone looking for a 2006 lexus rx400h? It will soon be for sale.

Vegas

Jake started a part time gig with Marriott hotels doing security so that we could get cheap rates for me in San Jose. Well, we found a nice hotel outside Vegas for $35 a night so we headed down for the weekend. When we checked in they upgraded us to a suite for free. The kids have had a blast swimming and just chilling. Last night we went to the Hersey store, M&M store and Bellagio where we had the best banana, strawberry, chocolate crepe. Jake works so hard for our family.

Christmas 2017

Such a wonderful day! Santa came, We got to sleep in until 615, had a delicious breakfast, got to visit with Grandma and Grandpa Hall, Papa Cutright and facetimed Grandma Cutright, and visited Grandma Gotberg. The kids were spoiled,
we’ve been lazy and I think the dogs like me. I honestly cant believe that Christmas has come and gone. Time needs to slow down.

Kambria is

Happy 9th Birthday to this cute girl. Kambria is so happy, goofy, crazy, sassy and loving. We are so glad she is part of our family.

Forgotten Carols

Jake took us to the Forgotten Carols, it was lots of fun. And Kambria got to pick dinner for her birthday tomorrow. A special treat, a friend from high school was Nurse Constance. Fun night.
