Jr Jazz Kickoff

Took the kids to the Jr Jazz kickoff party and meet the team event. SO much fun!!! We had front row and were so close to the players. Had a super fun selfie scavenger hunt, the kids got to shoot a free throw on the court and then watch the players have a 3-point contest.  We saw Alisons family while we were there, and we even made it on twitter!

Herriman PD

A lot has happened the past couple of months with Jakes job.  UPD hasn't been honest with Herriman City and has made a lot of poor choices.  So Herriman City decided that it was time to leave UPD and start their own Police Department.  Jake has loved his time in Herriman, and enjoys the guys that he works with, so he applied and interviewed with Herriman and he was hired. 

Jake was sworn in as a Herriman City Police Officer tonight. I got to pin his badge on him and I was so nervous, but I’m so glad I was able to. What a handsome man I have.

Back to Basketball night

We decided that we wanted to get season tickets to the JAZZ this year, so we did.  We love going to the games, and the ones we can't make we have given to employees and raffles for customers.  We had a fun back to Basketball night. JAZZ swag, food trucks and we got to meet Royce O’neil. Let basketball season begin.

Hidden Lake Adventures

Hidden Lake for the weekend. Perfect weather, no fish, 4 wheeling and hikes. Thunder loves the lake and river and is a great hiker. Dad for fall, because that means almost no camping. One day we will have a cabin and go in the winter.

8th Grade

First Day of 8th Grade.

4th Grade

4th grade already. Braces off, haircut and she has tried her outfit on at least 500 times. She is ready and excited. Her hair hasn’t been this short in a very long time!!!

Bear Lake 2018

Where do we start with Bear Lake.  Well we pulled the 5th wheel and the boat, and did good.  I was pretty nervous to have to do that, but it all worked out.  The first several days we were with my family.  We had so much fun on the boat and in the water.  We tubed, and played until we were all so tired.  The next several days were with The moss'.  So crazy story.  We had the boat in the water and all tied down.  Jake and I went into town to get some groceries.  On our way back we were looking at the water and thought our boat looked a bit weird.  So when we got back we hurried down to the water and sure enough the waves were so big that it had beached our boat.  We couldn't find jon and lisa so Jake and I were trying to push the boat out ourselves.  But the waves were so big it wasn't working.  Jon and Lisa happened to be on a walk.  They thought someone was messing with our boat so they came down, they got in the water with there normal clothes and helped us get it unstuck.  Back track …. earlier we were getting gas in the boat at the marina and Jake said to the guy it was too bad we couldn't dock the boat there.  The guy stated that some people have been, but they had really big trucks …… So we are out in the water with waves crashing into us and we don't know what to do.  Jake finally decides that Lisa and I go get the truck and tailer and he and Jon will walk to boat down to the marina and we will load it.  It all worked out, but wasn't easy and thankfully the boat was okay.

Tons of boating,sand and fires. We had so much fun at Rendezvous Beach State Park.

The fire East of Bear Lake is pretty, but crazy how fast it’s growing. I hope they can gain control.

More Bear Lake fun. Pizza in Garden City, boating and campfires. Gma and Papa even got on the tube. Having so much fun up here. Marshall, Addie and Connor have been staying out at the campfire chatting until after midnight the last few nights. It’s fun to see what great friends they are.
