how do you make it
It was fun, and we still are playing with it. Here are the directions:
Things You'll Need:
1 teaspoon Borax
2 cups water
2 cups white glue
Food coloring
Bowls
Step 1: Dissolve Borax in 1/2 cup of water. Stir the mixture and then set it aside.
Step 2: Mix 2 cups of white glue with 1 1/2 cups water in another bowl. Add food coloring, if desired. Kids seem to like a nice lime green color, which resembles snot.
Step 3: Pour the Borax solution into the glue mixture. Mix together until a thick gelatin is formed.
Step 4: Knead the slime for about 5 minutes. The more it is kneaded, the drier and less sticky it becomes.
Step 5: Store the slime in a plastic baggie, otherwise it will mold.
Borax is found in the laundry detergent isle. Its a square cardboard box. It works good for other things as well through out the house, so the 3.00 is spent well.
