Happy Halloween

We have had an eventful week. I have had the stomach flu ever since Tuesday afternoon, I am finally over that!!! Kambria came down with croup, and is on the mend from that. Wednesday night the YW/YM did a Halloween Carnival for the Primary kids. It was a lot of fun. I dressed up as a witch, and marshall was Darth Vaders Storm Trooper.

Today we took family pictures, my wonderful Mom brought us over Pizza and homemade chili for dinner plus pumpkin pie!! We took the kids out for an hour trick or treating and that was enough for us and them. It was rainy and cold. Marshall had fun, Kambria wasn't sure what she was doing and would just stand on the porch and stare after they gave her candy :)

Wheeler Farm

Tonight we decided to head over to Wheeler Farm to have some family fun. The last two days we have been home deep cleaning our home. We went through every room, every closet, every drawer, shampooed all the carpets, pulled out couches, and dejunked like crazy. It was busy but it is sooo nice to have a clean house!!! So tonight we headed to Wheeler farm and went through the corn maze, picked out pumpkins, looked at the animals, and then went on a Wagon Ride. It was so much fun!!! I love this time of year. The weather is perfect, the colors are beautiful and life is just fun :)

Classic

Marshall is off track for the next three weeks. It was really cute a few weeks ago he stated he was really excited for off track, he has never been off track and can't wait to see what it is like! I informed him that off track is just no school. Nothing super fun, you just get to be home with Mom and Kam. I then started thinking ... he sure is going to be disappointed, he loves school, off track is going to be so boring. So we decided on some activities to do the next 3 weeks and this is the first of many.
Ary, me and Teresa took the kids to Classic to bounce, play in the jungle and ride the wiggle cars. Kambria loved the wiggle car but would not do anything else unless mean aunt Ary would take her and make her go down the blow up slides and then Kam would scream and cry forever. We also played some arcade games and ate some yummy pizza. It was a lot of fun! Unfortunately Kam was so tired, that about 2pm me and the kids left because Kambria desperately needed a nap.
I would say day 1 of off track was a success.
We have also put into our Nexflix que all the Disney movies that Marshall has never seen such as, Snow White, Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, Mulan Bambi and many more (I always thought he wouldn't want to watch them cause he is a boy), and we will watch them all the next 3 weeks. So far so good :)

Kennecott

Uncle Kurt works up at Kennecott and Marshall has always wondered what he does and what the truck he drives looks like. You would think since we live in Herriman and have for 3 years that we would have went up to kennecott by now, but we haven't. So today the weather was perfect and we headed up. Marshall's friend Tyler came with us. Marshall loved the huge trucks and loved looking at all the rocks, and huge tire and just running around. Kambria thought it was neat as well but for some reason was extremely afraid of the large tire and would not get near it for a picture.

Soccer

Marshall played Fall Soccer and had a blast. He was a bit more aggresive this time, however they had one kid on there team that was so good not many others had a chance to kick or score!! They were the green goblins. These are the only two pictures I took the whole season :)

Bowling

Several weeks ago we had a family night. We went and had dinner at the Pizza Factory and then bowled at Fat Cats. I have since learned that Kambria is NOT fun to take bowling :) But she had fun and loved to bowl, she is just a super busy body!!! I brought our little junky camera, and she would not hold still, so the majority of the pictures are blury. I need my nice Nikon to caputre her little busy body!!

Utah State Fair

A week or so ago My Mom and Dad and grandma and me and the kids headed downtown to go to the fair. It was actually a fun time. We started by looking at the animals, Kambria was so onery for some reason and was so afraid of the goats!!! She would scream so loud. She didn't like the cows either. After that we saw the ponies and Marshall wanted to go on a ride. So I paid for Marshall and Kam and I sat on the haystack. The worker man came up and said to throw Kambria up for a ride since there were so pony's not being used. He grabbed her and I followed. I tried holding her on long enough for a picture, but that didn't happen. she was screaming and crying and wanted off immediatley from that pony!!!!

We ate dinner, watched a few shows, marshall and I went on the huge yellow slide, and we ate some dinner.

As we were leaving to go home there were 4 people coming into the fair on golf carts, dressed in suits. I looked but only noticed at first a young man. I said, I wonder who that is ... my Dad replied that it was our Prophet. I looked again and sure enough it was President Monson. He was being very funny also. He pointed forward and in a loud voice, yelled to the rabbits!! I was 99% sure it was actually our Prophet, so I asked the security guard and he confirmed it was the Prophet. Pretty neat seeing him at the fair. We get to see him at Conference but I made sure to tell Marshall how neat and exciting that it was that we were able to see him just out and about.

We had a great time, wish Jake could have come, but he was working. I didn't bring my camera, but here are a few pictures my mom took.
