Cancun Day 1

We had the most amazing time on our vacation! We didn't want to be in a "party" area, so we chose a Resort in Puerto Morelos, right next to the Marina. It was called Marina El Cid spa & Resort. it was so pretty, clean and the service was awesome. It was an All-Inclusive resort. It included 3 fancy restaurants, a buffet, and 24 hour room service! Also included was boogie boards, kayaks, and catamarans. The resort had an amazing pool with a slide and a cliff you could jump off. We had a blast and would stay there again. It was not too crowded and just lovely.

We left on Wed early morning. We left our home at 4:30AM. We got to the airport (thanks BJ), and waited for a few hours till it was time to go. It was a long ride ... about 6 hours. Here we are in the plane!

We finally made it to Cancun :0). We got there at 4:00pm, the weather was overcast but super warm, and very humid. We waited for our transportation and then we were off.

Here is the entrance to our room. Each room has a balcony. We were so lucky, we had one of the best rooms! We had an oceanview room, and we could see the pool. It was a really nice room!

Here is Jake calling for food, the buffet had just ended for lunch and didn't open for another 1 hour, and we were starving!!
