We went up for the weekend to Whiting Campground. It is in the Mountains of Mapleton. It was so pretty and so nice to get away. The weather was perfect. There were not many people up there, and it was only a 1 hour drive at the longest. Marshall loves to camp, and loves the campfire. Here are a few pictures. On Saturday Morning we went on a hike, it was beautiful, it is along side a river. Other then the hike we just relaxed by the fire and played games. Grandma & Grandpa Cutright went up with us.
The first day we got there, Marshall was riding his bike around the fire pit, (there was no fire, we had just gotten there), and he fell over and into the fire pit. He hit is head really hard, if you look close on the left side of his head he has a cut all around the side. It left a pretty good bruise. I though for sure that he was going to have a deep cut that needed stiches, luckily he has a hard head . . . . . I guess! Other then that one little incident we had no problems.
