Only at the Cutrights .....

Well i seriously believe that we should not travel, because if we do, something bad is bound to happen.
We have been home for a few weeks, and the kids have been sick but nothing bad ... we thought we finally went on vacation with no medical problems. Not so soon Brandy, today Jake woke up with a horrible pain in his stomach. He quickly moved to the right side and was very bad. To the instacare we went, they determined it was appendicitis and sent him to the ER, where within two hours he was in surgery having his appendix removed. It was a quick surgery, only 3 small incisions, and about 1.5 hours later we are resting at home. poor Jake!! The surgery went really well. The only scary part (and luckily i wasn't in the room, i would have freaked out), was when they took the tube out of his throat, Jake couldn't breathe. They had to lay him flat and hold open his jaw so that he could breathe. Kinda scary! But since he has been fine. He is on his meds, and doing okay tonight. He has the munchies, but too scared to let him eat to much. They said a light meal, and he has already eaten a Kneaders sandwich, soup, bowl of cereal, Graham cracker with frosting. Apparently he was hungry :)
Marshall is like his Mom, I can't look at the incisions, they make my knees weak. Marshall wanted to see them, Jake said this is where they cut me, and Marshall asked how did they put you back together? and then he said, your right mom, I have the shakes!! I love my boy.
Well there you have it. Give Jake a week and hopefully he will be back to normal! Gotta love our luck. IT'S ALWAYS SOMETHING AT THE CUTRIGHT HOME! Pretty proud of myself, I haven't even cried over it, good thing my emotions are doing good today :0)
I really am wondering why we have certain organs if we really don't need them, such as our appendix and also our gallbladder?? Hmmm guess just so we can waste money to have them removed :)
To make matters worse, today my Granny was taken by ambulance to the hospital where she is not doing great. She was having problems breathing and just not doing wonderful. She has a blood clot in her lung and some other stuff going on. She was really sick last year, and we all thought she wasn't going to make it, however she came back and has been doing good. Now she has taken a turn for the worst again ... We will pray for the best.
And its my Dad's birthday today, Happy Birthday Dad ... We love you!!!
