My First Appointment

I went to my 8 week appointment and it was great. Everything looks good so far, I haven't been sick. Just the normal tired. He did and ultra sound in the room, it was neat to see that there really is something in my tummy even though it is smaller then a grape. He has temporarily changed my due date to January 16th, and then next visit in 4 weeks he will re-measure baby and give me a better date. I will be having a C-section again, so he will schedule that 2 weeks earlier then my due date. So I should be having the baby about January 2. Pretty exciting. The baby was too small to hear the heart beat, but we could see it on the monitor and it was 156 which is really good. Here are a few pictures, you can't see much, it just looks like a bean!!
Here is a blurb about my Baby at 7 weeks:
Hands and feet are emerging from developing arms and legs — although they look more like paddles at this point than the tiny, pudgy extremities you're daydreaming about holding and tickling. Technically, your baby is still considered an embryo and has something of a small tail, which is an extension of her tailbone. The tail will disappear within a few weeks, but that's the only thing getting smaller. Your baby has doubled in size since last week and now measures half an inch long, about the size of a blueberry.

He was measuring the baby, so it has the two + signs around it. Super tiny, but so neat that it is growing inside of me.

And the Winner is . . . . . . .

We went to the Blaze game last night and it was so much fun. We were up in the suites eating chips & salsa and popcorn (they could have fed us), it was an exciting game. Before halftime the 3 contestants choose a bucket, Jake choose the middle bucket. At halftime, they went down to the field, the stood in front of there barrels and the DJ said go, they ran to there barrel, punched through the center and reached in for the prize. One held a toy Harley (the Harley of course), one held a toy airplane(trip to Arizona to see a Blaze game), and the other was a throttle energy drink(1 year supply of Full Throttle). So Jake reaches in, and out comes the HARLEY, I was in disbelief, he won . . . . I screamed so loud and was jumping up and down, I didn't care what anyone thought, people where staring at me, and I continued to scream and jump. JAKE WON A HARLEY DAVIDSON, I would never have thought, Oh how blessed we are. Here are some pictures, there will be more to come. He picks it up on Monday or Tuesday!!!!!!!!!

OH YEAH BABY!!

So let me start out by saying . . . I AM SO EXCITED!! So it all started out a few months ago, my dad was given 4 awesome tickets to the Blaze Game, He didn't care for them, so he gave them to us. We decided to get tickets for the game on Saturday May 24th. The other day Jake submitted his name to X96 to win a trip to the same Blaze game and be eligible for a Harley Davidson Motorcycle. I thought, Yeah right in your wildest dreams. Then about 1 week ago, jake won 4 tickets to the Blaze game in the upperbowl, so we gave those tickets to the Rousey's to enjoy. So today I went downtown and turned in my vouchers and got us our tickets for Saturdays game. Shortly after jake called and said, " I hope my parents want to go to the game." I assumed Kim and Ryan could no longer go with us, He said, "NO, my name was drawn for the Harley Davidson!!" So we are going to the game on Saturday night in the suites, at halftime, Jake and 2 others go down and there will be three buckets. They each choose one. One of them will have the key to the Harley Davidson (valued at $18,000), the other a paid trip to somewhere in Arizona, and the third a smaller prize. THIS MEANS JAKE HAS A 1 IN 3 CHANCE TO WIN!!!!!!! I will let you know on Sunday!

1st Camping Trip of 2008

We went up for the weekend to Whiting Campground. It is in the Mountains of Mapleton. It was so pretty and so nice to get away. The weather was perfect. There were not many people up there, and it was only a 1 hour drive at the longest. Marshall loves to camp, and loves the campfire. Here are a few pictures. On Saturday Morning we went on a hike, it was beautiful, it is along side a river. Other then the hike we just relaxed by the fire and played games. Grandma & Grandpa Cutright went up with us. The first day we got there, Marshall was riding his bike around the fire pit, (there was no fire, we had just gotten there), and he fell over and into the fire pit. He hit is head really hard, if you look close on the left side of his head he has a cut all around the side. It left a pretty good bruise. I though for sure that he was going to have a deep cut that needed stiches, luckily he has a hard head . . . . . I guess! Other then that one little incident we had no problems.

Happy Mother's Day!

I just wanted to say how thankful I am to be a mother. This brings me the greatest joy in the world. I love Marshall so much and love seeing him grow. I am amazed at how smart he is and what a good boy he is. I am thankful for Jake and the great husband he is, and how much he loves me and Marshall. I am so excited to have a 2nd child, and I know that Marshall will be the best big brother. I am also thankful for my mom. I am thankful that she introduced the gospel to us, I am thankful for her devotion to raising us, she did a good job. I am thankful for all the help she is to me still. I am also thankful to Jake's mom. She is a great women, she raised an amazing son, who respects everyone and is such a great Priesthood holder. Mother's Day was very nice. Jake's family came over for dinner to celebrate Mother's Day and my Birthday. We had dinner and then just visited. Jake and Marshall gave me and Ipod touchscreen and speakers for the kitchen. I love my family, I am so thankful for the gospel and the knowledge that families are eternal . . . . . this gives me so much comfort to know that I will always have my family. I hope everyone had just as good as Mother's Day!!

Marshall is so weird

Marshall has been saying some of the weirdest and off the wall comments lately. Here are a few that I can remember. Last night we were trying to go to bed. Marshall was in his bed, we were in ours. He was having problems falling asleep . . . . so he kept telling me he needs me, he needs to tell me a secret. So after about an hour of his game and getting out of bed probably 10+times I became frustrated and wouldn't answer to him. He then says, "Mom will you do me a favor?" that was so funny to me, so I said what Marshall in a not so happy voice, he replied, "Will you tell dad that he is a fart face!" Me and Jake started laughing, where in the world did he come up with that, and just out of no where.
Then the other day I was looking at blogs and Marshall was sitting with me. I pulled up my blog and Marshall noticed the baby counter. He looks at me and says, "Mom I didn't know you were having a baby dog." Then as i looked at the picture it was so funny, cause it really does look like a dog.
Then while he was being annoying not going to bed, he says mom I hear something bumpy. I don't hear anything Marshall go to bed. He says did you hear me, I said bumpy. Say it. So I say Bumpy. He says no say Buu-MMM-PEEEE bumpy. sounding out the word like I don't know how to say it.
He is a weird one, but we sure love him. He stinks at going to bed, it takes him forever to wind down and fall asleep. I usually have to go in a good 5 times before he will stop talking to me, and he wakes up a good 1-3 times a night calling for me, any ideas that you all have to make him go to bed when you put him in there without having to go in 100 times or him getting out would be great!!!
