Brave Marshall

Yesterday was our Primary Program in church. I have worked for about 1 month with Marshall on his part so that he would have it memorized and be brave enough to say it in front of everyone. The first day we practiced he had it memorized, but I would periodically ask him so that he would know it so so well and be brave enough to say it. Well Saturday we had a practice, he stood in line with the other sunbeams and all of a sudden he was getting teary eyed and a pouty face, so i went to him and said let me help you, but he wouldn't do it. After the practice he said, "Mom, if you take me to get a happy meal I promise I will say my part tomorrow." I thought yeah right, he isn't going to he is just way too shy, but I couldn't say NO, so I took him. We woke up early on Sunday got ready and Marshall was in a bad mood. You could tell he was nervous and everything was bugging him. I thought no way will he say his part! I am a teacher in Primary so I was up with all the kids. The Sunbeams all lined up, Marshall included, he had a smile on his face, it was his turn, he looked at Korrine (Primary President), and said,"I don't need help I can do it myself", he stood up and said right into the microphone, "My name is Marshall and I know that I am a son of Heavenly Father." Then he got down. I was so so so so proud of him. My eyes got all watery and I could have cried. He was so brave, and he kept his promise. The rest of the program he kept putting his hand up in the I Love You form and waving down to Daddy, Grandma Hall, and Papa Cutright. Anyway, just wanted to share that with you, I am so proud of Marshall and how brave he is getting. He is a shy little kid, but Primary and Preschool are helping him quickly become so brave!!!

Private Blog

Today I realized that Jake and I were not on the same page about this blog. He was under the impression that only certain persons were able to see our blog, which is not the case. We have decided to make our Blog Private, that is the Police side of Jake coming out :0). HEARTBURN

Ok, this is bad . .. I thought I had it bad with Marshall, that was nothing!! At night it is so bad that I spend the night like this:



Horrible. I laid down at about 10:00 this evening to go to bed, and am now sitting in front of the computer between barfing.

So anyone who has experienced this knows how bad it sucks..... any advice would be great. I take a RX Zantac at brkfst and then at dinner I take an Rx Zantac and Prilosec. I have tried to not eat anything after 7:00pm, however still major heartburn. Leave me a comment with any advice or tricks that you may have. Anything would be wonderful. I try sitting up to sleep, doesn't help.

I am so proud of Jake

So I know that I am post happy today, that's okay . . . I finally have a minute that I can be. I just wanted Jake to know how proud of him I am, and that I am so happy for all he does for us. His job has been really stressful lately, and it brings you down, it is hard to want to go to work. It has also been super busy, he has not had a day off in over 21 days. Finally tomorrow he gets to have off. YIPPEE!! It is hard when you are having to help everyone at your job, and listen to everyone be babies and complain all the time. Well a position opened up in detectives for Robbery/Homicide. That is a position that is highly wanted, well Sargent asked Jake if he would like that spot, Jake said sure. Oh boy . . . . . that is where all the drama started. But to save a long story, JAKE GOT THE JOB!! It doesn't pay more, but it is a spot that you earn by working hard, showing your dedication and proving that you can handle anything that is thrown before you, and that is exactly what Jake has done!!! He will do such an awesome job! Love you Jake.

103 Days and Counting

I had my Dr. appointment today. Everything was good, baby was measuring perfect, heart beat sounded wonderful. We made a date for the C-section of January 6th. So Baby Kambria will be born on a Tuesday, January 6th. Having a set Date makes me so excited. It makes it seem like it really will get here and she will be part of our family!! So I have 14 1/2 weeks to go, or 103 days to go. Considering I have been pregnant for 25 weeks, and found out what I was having at 16 weeks (and that came pretty fast), 14 1/2 weeks is sounding closer and closer. I am soooo ready!! I went shopping yesterday with My mom, grandma and sister up to Park city and my mom bought me some maternity clothes and some baby girl clothes. Girls are fun to dress!!! Anyway other then that nothing new going on! We are doing good. I have major Heart Burn, but today my Dr. gave me some tips . . . . hopefully they will help. There is nothing worse then throwing up and having it come out your nose :0)

1. I can't sleep next to the door, I have to sleep on the opposite side of the bed

3. I love to listen to Jake's Police Radio, I find criminal court interesting, it keeps my attention (I have been with Jake several times) crime fascinates me..... I MISS RIDE A LONGS!!!

How long did you date? 5 Months after mission and then we were married. But we have been good friends since High school.
