Today was an AMAZING Day! We had our first excursion and it was awesome!! We woke up and ate some breakfast. We then caught our transportation and headed out to a little house. Once at the house we met our tour guide George. We then rode 19 miles through the jungle to a cenote (a cave underground with fresh water). At the first one, we were able to zipline into the water. There was also a huge opening up top that you could jump from. It was about 13 feet up. We both jumped in through the hole. It was so much fun!!! The second one we went to was amazing. It was pretty dark and then out of nowhere there would be an opening where light would shine in. we swam through the cenote and just relaxed. Jake jumped in from a hole that was about 25 feet high, crazy crazy crazy. There was a point where you could swim down and under this rock and come up into an opening, so Jake and George did. When they were coming back, Jake came up too early and hit his head on the rock. We then went back to the little house and they gave us french fries and chips and salsa and homemade guacamole ... it was so good. This was so amazing and so much fun. We were with 3 other gals, they were so nice and our camera was being silly and the screen went out, so we didn't know if our pictures were even working, so they took some and we will post those once they send them to us! There are a lot of pictures .. more that will be added another day onto this same post. It was a fun day, and I want to remember everything about it.
